How to Plan a Vacation
Thursday 28 August 2008 @ 5:44 am

My husband and I recently returned from Peru, and since then several people have asked me how I went about it, which travel agent I used and how I arranged for everything. Since I get asked this question every time we return from a big trip, usually once a year, I decided to write about the process I go through each time. Feel free to write to me if you’d like more details on any of the places mentioned and travel arrangements.

Deciding where to go
I have a list of places that I want to see so I just go down it every year to check off places that might be possible to visit. When we were planning our last trip, we had two options - South America or South Africa. South Africa was proving to be pretty pricey. On the other hand, I found that I could get reward travel to South America. So that made the decision fairly easy.

Researching
One of the best sites to research destinations is www.frommers.com. Their forums (called “Travel Talk”) really interest me. You can ask questions, suggestions and pretty much discuss anything with past and future travelers to a particular country. You really get insider tips from those who have already experienced it. For instance, I came to know through somebody’s post that Malaria pills are really not that necessary while traveling to the Amazon jungle. In turn, when I got back I posted that yellow fever vaccinations were also not required (having seen so myself).

I also found my tour company from frommers.com. In the “planning a trip” section they had given the pros and cons of going with an escorted tour company, with recommendations of some U.S. based ones. I knew instantly that these would be reliable, and decided to go with a name they suggested - Analie Tours (www.analietours.com). In retrospect we feel we could have toured on our own, but having it all arranged for us did save us tremendous time and hassle, especially considering that we don’t speak Spanish.

I also use my local library extensively for travel books and videos. Usually they have older editions, but it saves me the money from buying books every time.

Tour Guide or Solo
As I mentioned above, we believe that we could have done Peru on our own. But that’s because we travel extensively, and have learned, by and large, how to navigate through unknown places. I would recommend anyone not used to traveling to go with a tour company like Analie Tours. What they offer is incredible. You get to have a customized tour planned just for you. You can tell them exactly what dates you want to arrive and return, which places you want to see and how many days in each location, what class of hotels you want to stay in, and whether or not you want to include airfare in their package. That means not having to go on pre-scheduled departure dates or traveling with an army of a group. We toured the city of Cuzco with a guide all to ourselves. In the other places we shared our guide with just a few more people whose travel dates happened to coincide with ours.

We had drivers waiting for us inside airport terminals with our name signs ready to whisk us off to our hotels in nice cars, so we were spared the trouble of haggling with non-English speaking cab drivers. Finally, all the hotel suggestions of the travel agents lived up to expectations. Travel agents to several countries now offer this customized tour option so check on Frommers.com for suggestions.

We are planning a trip to South Africa in the near future, and based on what we’ve heard about how well developed the country is and how easy it is to get around, we will probably go solo and make all arrangements ourselves.

Guide Books
If you plan to go solo, make sure you have some great guide books. I don’t mean the ones that are only hotel and restaurant directories. Look for ones with insider tips to each place. Rick Steve’s Europe books are jewels. Not only are they personal accounts of his travels, they also give superb suggestions for reasonable itineraries, and money saving trips. For instance, when in Paris, it is much cheaper to buy a “carte” (10) of subway tickets than one at a time. In Florence, instead of standing in lines to get into museums, you can buy a museum pass beforehand and save yourself time and frustration. I picked up all these tips from Rick Steve’s Best of Europe book. No other company’s books come close to being as good as Steve’s, but if you shop around you’ll find something you like.

Finding Deals
God bless Google! If nothing else works, you can just type “deals to (wherever)” in the search box, and something WILL pop up. This is usually my last resort after I have exhausted all the possible avenues:
• First I check on airline sites for package deal. I usually go to Continental’s site since we are members, and also we live near its Newark airport hub. I have seen British Airways offer deals like Airfare + 4 nights in London for $300 per person!
• Then I go to the travel websites - Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz. They have pretty good deals too sometimes, especially cruises.
• I also check out AAA’s website since they offer travel package discounts to members. For instance I bought our Alaskan cruise tickets from them at literally half the price that the other websites were offering.
• I go to Frommers.com Travel Talk and note down suggestions by past travelers regarding deals that they got. This is usually a pretty reliable source. Most people will suggest travel agencies’ names, so you can check out their websites and look for good deals.
• Finally, I see how much free stuff I can get with airline miles and hotel points. This has been working out really well for us, and is one of the reasons we can afford to go to all the places we have been to.

After I have got a quote, or an estimate for how much the whole trip is going to cost, I ask around on various travel forums to see if it’s a good number.

Animal Print Rugs - Adding an Animal Print Area Rug Can Complete The Look of Your Room
Sunday 24 August 2008 @ 11:29 pm

If you love animal prints or have an exotic theme to your room, an animal print rug can be the finishing touch that really brings the feel of that theme to the room. Make sure when you choose the rug, that the animal print you choose goes with the colors and patterns that are already present in the room.

Animal print area rugs can vary in price quite a bit, depending on whether you are looking for a handmade, machine made or genuine animal skin rug. You can view all of those options on one online rug store’s website. Make sure you measure the exact size of the room and get a rug that is at least large enough. Its better to have the rug run a little larger than you need than to be too small.

The right area rug can really pull the design of a room together. When choosing a rug to buy for a room, pay attention to the style the room is decorated, the colors and patterns used around the room. Choosing the wrong rug for your room can make the rug stand out as looking out of place instead of bringing the room together and making it look like a perfectly blended part of the decor.

There are many online rug stores. However, some are better than others. Many offer discounted prices, free shipping and other perks. You should check these rug stores first for what you are looking for. To see our list recommended online rug stores that offer discounts and free shipping, visit this page: Recommended Discount Rug Stores Online.

How to Fool a Breathalyzer
Sunday 24 August 2008 @ 8:22 am

Want to trick a breath machine into a low test result? Or make sure that you’re not causing a false high reading? Not that difficult, says a law firm of San Diego DUI attorneys and lawyers: just control your breathing.

The simple fact is that these breath machines which determine guilt or innocence in DUI cases are not exactly the reliable devices that law enforcement would have us believe. There are dozens of factors that can cause false test results. An example of that unreliability is the fact that the results will vary depending upon the breathing pattern of the person being tested. This has been confirmed in a number of scientific studies.

In one, for example, a group of men drank moderate doses of alcohol and their blood-alcohol levels were then measured by gas chromatographic analysis of their breath. The breathing techniques were then varied. The results indicated that holding your breath for 30 seconds before exhaling increased the blood-alcohol level by 15.7%. Hyperventilating for 20 seconds immediately before the analyses of breath, on the other hand, decreased the level by 10.6%. Keeping the mouth closed for five minutes and using shallow nasal breathing resulted in increasing the blood-alcohol level by 7.3%, and testing after a slow, 20-second exhalation increased levels by 2%. (”How Breathing Techniques Can Influence the Results of Breath-Alcohol Analyses”, 22(4) Medical Science and the Law 275.)

Dr. Michael Hlastala, Professor of Physiology, Biophysics and Medicine at the University of Washington has gone farther and concluded:

“By far, the most overlooked error in breath testing for alcohol is the pattern of breathing… The concentration of alcohol changes considerably during the breath… The first part of the breath, after discarding the dead space, has an alcohol concentration much lower than the equivalent BAC (blood-alcohol concentration). Whereas, the last part of the breath has an alcohol concentration that is much higher than the equivalent BAC. The last part of the breath can be over 50% above the alcohol level… Thus, a breath tester reading of 0.14% taken from the last part of the breath may indicate that the blood level is only 0.09%.” 9(6) The Champion 16 (1985).

Many police officers know this. They also know that if the machine contradicts their judgement that the person they arrested is intoxicated, they won’t look good. So when they tell the arrestee to blow into the machine’s mouthpiece, they’ll yell at him, “Keep breathing! Breathe harder! Harder!” As Professor Hlastala has found, this ensures that the breath captured by the machine will be from the bottom of the lungs, near the alveolar sacs, which will be richest in alcohol. With the higher alcohol concentration, the machine will give a higher — but inaccurate — reading.

Those Pesky Paradigms - Why Remote Viewing is so controversi
Tuesday 19 August 2008 @ 7:38 pm

Those Pesky Paradigms

Why is PSI TECH and remote viewing so controversial and misunderstood? Well, in essence we are selling the idea of round-the-world cruises to people who still think the world is flat. When you describe Technical Remote Viewing® to someone who has no experience or knowledge base regarding it, you usually see them roll their eyes into the back of their head. “Remote what? Is that like some psychic thing?” Remote Viewing can’t possibly be real. Collecting data about people and events remote in time and space with just a pen, paper, and alert mind sounds like an invention of a modern day PT Barnum. Yet almost all Americans believe they possess ESP or a sixth sense. So why is it so hard to believe in the possibility of technology that taps into and focuses that innate ability? A technology the Pentagon spent $20 million developing and kept secret for 17 years.

For those of us who have learned the skill of TRV® by installing the protocols into our autonomic nervous system and perform TRV on a daily basis, we are constantly amazed by the fact that the human mind really can do this. And because we have become so immersed in our own TRV culture, we tend to forget what it was like before we learned this skill. If it’s still incredible for those of us who practice TRV that we possess this ability, it must be totally incredulous to someone who has no idea what it even is.

Humans have a long history of not accepting new ideas until forced to, usually because their very survival is at stake. In the words of Ghandi, “First they laugh at you, then they fear you, then they fight you, then you win.” The process for a new paradigm or belief system to become established in a society, can take generations.

But why? Why do new ideas that benefit mankind to such a degree as remote viewing, cause such defensive angst?

Galileo Found Guilty Of Heresy

Travel back in time with me. The year is 1633. The headline on this spring day throughout Europe reads, “Galileo Found Guilty of Heresy: Condemned to Life Imprisonment For Publishing That The Earth Moves.” Galileo invented the telescope. His observations strengthened his belief in Copernicus’ theory that Earth and all other planets revolve around the Sun. Most people in Galileo’s time believed that the Earth was the center of the Universe and that the Sun and planets revolved around it. The Catholic Church was the ruling authority of the day and when Galileo published his paper on his theory, it infuriated the Pope. So the Pope ordered Galileo imprisoned for life to prevent him from further disseminating his discoveries.

Ever wonder why whenever you discuss politics or religion to people whose ideas oppose yours they immediately become entrenched and ultra-defensive about their beliefs? Even the most intelligent and logically minded are reduced to emotionally charged argument and fights. It’s because they are protecting their paradigms. A paradigm is a belief system. It’s a set of shared assumptions, and values that constitute a way of viewing reality. These fundamental beliefs do not change easily in individuals or cultures. Usually not until a person repeatedly encounters evidence that Reality is simply not as one had thought it was.

The first response to evidence that challenges an existing paradigm is to deny it. We accuse such people of fraud or even witchcraft and convince ourselves that the evidence that seems so contrary to our reality as we know it simply does not exist. When a belief system is threatened because it is in conflict with cultural institutions or an individual’s paradigms it evokes a survival response. Wars are started over such ideological conflicts.

Shifting Paradigms: Stretching Things To Fit

But as the evidence accumulates and is so strong that we can no longer dismiss it we must accept that something is going on that doesn’t seem possible according to our existing paradigm. This is the point that an individual experiences what is called a paradigm shift. When this happens we bend our previous paradigm to fit the new problematic evidence.

An example of such stretching occurred during the days of the Wright Brothers and their battle for manned flight. What most don’t realize is that it took years after the flight in 1903 at Kitty Hawk, before the idea caught on that heavier than air machines were invented that allowed man to fly. Most people laughed at first and assumed it was a fraud. The U.S. government was offered Wright Brothers flying machines, but they were not taken seriously until almost a decade later. The evidence began to pile up and the paradigm shifted, that such a thing was scientifically possible. Once this new paradigm was accepted, it revolutionized travel as we know it and changed society forever.

Usually paradigm shifts move “bottom-up” in a grass-roots way, so it is not uncommon for the power structures of a culture to feel highly threatened by paradigm shifts that seem to contradict the current view of reality. Such power structures may respond by passively resisting change or even by actively combating it. They don’t usually do this with conscious intent or malice, but merely in response to what appears to be “crazy” or “unreasonable” pressures from a paradigm outside their own — which by definition seems “out of touch with Reality.”

It Takes A New Mind - To See A New World

Technical Remote Viewing and the work of PSI TECH is “crazy” according to most existing paradigms of our society. No matter how many demonstrations one witnesses, until you do it yourself it’s just too unreal to accept that the mind…your mind can really do this. And because it is a skill, it can not be executed with perfection by every individual, giving the status quo more ammo to shoot it down. The Wright Brothers first manned flight was only 12 seconds long and went 120 feet. Certainly not a big deal when we look at how the technology has evolved. But that 12 second flight was paradigm shattering, and ushered in a whole new era of possibilities for mankind.

The future holds great promise if we are brave enough to embrace new possibilities and set aside our need to protect existing paradigms. I firmly believe one of the greatest technology breakthroughs of the new millennium will be the development of our innate PSI functioning. But it is so profound and paradigm shattering that it will be fought tooth and nail by those individuals and institutions clinging to the existing belief structure.

It is part of our mission of PSI TECH to take on this quest. And to offer tools to all who wish them to develop their full potential as human beings.

Note: Carl Jung was shunted in his day for declaring that something called the unconscious mind existed. He stated before he died in 1961 that the inevitable development of the human “Intuition/Instinct” (PSI functioning) would be the next big change for mankind. We at PSI TECH believe that Technical Remote Viewing is the language that will actively precipitate that change.

Evaluating Telemetry Data
Friday 15 August 2008 @ 9:27 pm

The word Telemetry, like all English words, is a culmination of the Greek words tele meaning remote and metron meaning measure. Thus, Telemetry is the science and technology of remote measurement, and relaying of data by wire, radio, or other means from inaccessible locations, as from orbiting satellites or space vehicles, to receiving stations where the telemetry data gets recorded and analyzed. For instance, the Hubble Space Telescope generates to the order of 6,000 telemetry data values, many of which are sampled at 1 Hz, and with several hundred parameters being sampled at 40 Hz.

When these systems are used for both control and telemetry data collection, the term supervisory control and data acquisition are applied. Telemeter is the apparatus used for recording the readings of an instrument and transmitting them by radio. A so-called handler, collects, formats and stores the data in a dedicated buffer, and then transfers the data to the receiving station. Although telemetry has a wealth of potential applications, it is primarily used for data collection from remote places and transmitting the information to a point where it is evaluated. After each telemetry data is read into the core, selected data items are extracted and placed into arrays for subsequent processing. Sometimes this process requires extracting and examining the values of one or more data items before the extraction of other items. For instance, a flag in the data may indicate which of several formats the data appear in, and the location of other data items within the record depends on this format. Computers are necessary in this field of study because of their speed at doing calculations and analysis. Even some of the “super Computers” available to large companies and organizations are not able to completely analyze the quantities of data input. Weather calculation is one example. Conditions change faster than most super computers can keep up with. (This is why the weatherman is wrong many times).

The usefulness of telemetry data in determining physiological and behavioral patterns of wild animals cannot be overemphasized. Telemetry helps scientists understand and identify the natural causes that are linked to habitat conditions of wild animals, which in turn alter their behavior, and how such conditions affect their mortality rates. This data also provides a means to study and forecast the effects of environmental changes such as thermal, chemical pollution and other geophysical changes. Telemetry has many other useful applications, for example in medical research it is used for measuring the electrical response of devices outfitted on cardiac patients. An alert function summons the nurse if the patient is in a critical condition. There are more applications of telemetry data than listed in this article.

Keith Londrie II is a well known author. For more information on Telemetry and telemetry Technician, please visit Telemetry Information for a wealth of information. You may also want to visit keith’s own web site at http://keithlondrie.com/

The Fountain of Youth - Right in Front of Us All This Time!
Friday 15 August 2008 @ 2:55 am

The Fountain of Youth - Right at Your Fingertips

Can we really stop the aging process, slow it down, or even reverse the effects of aging on our skin and body? It is an enigma for which so many have searched the answers to for years. Now, with advanced modern science making breakthroughs and discoveries every day, the answers have become apparent to the age-old quest for the proverbial fountain of youth.

In large part, your everyday lifestyle choices contribute to the way you age, and at what rateyour body ages. Diet, environmental factors, exercise and the topical skincare products and skin care regimen you choose, all affect the way you are going to appear now and ten, twenty, and thirty years down the road. It’s no surprise your lifestyle plays a pivotal
role in how your body and skin age over the years, since we’ve always known diet and exercise affect our energy levels, appearance, moods, and fitness level.

However, several key foods have been found to be very effective weapons not only against aging in general, but also against skin disorders ranging from acne, rosacea, thin skin, and photo aging (sun damage). These foods can even help reverse and repair sun and other environmental damage done to theskin. This powerful weapon is a goup of chemical compounds called antioxidants, and what they accomplish in high doses, along with adequate exercise, can mimic a surgical facelift over a relatively short period of time!

Think about all of the damage your skin is exposed to on a daily basis. It is your largest and most vulnerable organ, exposed to toxins and other damaging elements, like the sun, every day. These elements will actually accelerate the aging process by producing harmful compounds called free radicals, which can damage cells and in turn damage the skin. Antioxidants actually fight free radicals, and reverse some of the damage already done by them in the body.

Precautions to be taken to prevent these nasty little free radicals from wreaking havoc on your skin include wearing sunscreen every day, getting regular moderate exercise, using preventive skin care (cleansers, lotions, gels, creams, etc.) formulated with powerful antioxidants like Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid, and making sure your get an abundance of
antioxidants in your every day diet.

Some examples of foods high in antioxidants include berries (strawberries, bluberries, raspberries, etc.),citrus fruits (oranges, grapefruits, etc.), and vegetables rich in color, such as broccoli, zuccini, spinach, and summer squash.

While there are many foods to be enjoyed while living by the
“anti-aging” diet, there are also foods that need to be either avoided all together, or strictly minimized. These are refined sugar, caffeine, and all starchy and white flour products. The resulting surge of insulin created by these foods produces more free radicals and breaks down the cell’s defenses against damaging elements, leaving you wide open to more skin damage
(ie. wrinkles, skin disorders, and other premature aging effects).

These foods are highly inflammatory by nature, and while they may taste good going down, know that they are destroying good cells and allowing for future damage by weakening the cell’s defenses further. Eating these foods results in less tone and definition. The skin “droops”, hence the creation of fine lines, wrinkles, and dull color. You will know a person that has a high sugar and high carb diet by looking at their face. They may have almost a “doughy” appearance to their skin, lacking the sharp definition and tone enjoyed by those who follow a healthy diet based on the anti-aging principles.

So, there you have it, some of the core concepts that will get you started to minimizing and even reversing the affects of aging. This is really just the tip of the iceberg. There is actually a lot more information on these concepts available that would be well worth your time to learn. What
you do with these principles is up to you, it’s just a matter of making some minor changes for a longer, happier and healthier life. I’d say that is definitely worth the investment!

Visit Revitol Skin Care System for more information on an effective advanced natural skin care system that scientifically reverses the signs of aging using the ingredients mentioned in this article and as publicized in numerous articles and studies. We Are Who We Are To God Regardless Of Who We “Say” We Are! Part I
Sunday 10 August 2008 @ 4:35 am

Most people wear an outer mask of who they want others to think they are. One thing is for certain, however, and that is God truly knows who you are regardless of who you say you are or who you try to make others think you are. And….you even deceive yourself into believing who you are.

This is my first Article of Ministry. I was inspired to begin this Ministry two nights ago as I took my daily, soulful walk. During these walks I have the most comforting conversations with Jesus, who relays all our conversations to his Father and my Father in Heaven, who is “God,” the “Almightiest God.” I say: The Almightiest God, because there are many other Gods in our land besides the one true living God who is the Father of Jesus Christ. Only one spirit of God, but many other spirits among us. So that wherever God’s spirit is, evil is always present.

Tonight came the first topic to speak about. The bible scriptures that rambled through my head goes something like this: “all the ways of man are right in his own eyes.”

Now how many people fits this description is the question that comes to my mind as well. And….does God, the Father, want us to continue with this act and masking of a persona or would he like for us to just come clean and admit who we really are, so we can repent and turn from the ways we deny we are, but God Almighty knows we are, and those ways are what keeps so many people from actually walking along side or a bit behind Jesus Christ.

Connie Limon publishes a blog where you can read all the Articles of Ministry. Visit me at:

Most “christian” people I have met since being a borned again christian continually try to walk and do walk ahead of Jesus and the Holy Ghost. They wear an outer costume (which I call a uniform of chrisitianity) and mask to all the world around them and many of these people on the outside look very “clean,” but the Holy Ghost reveals to me, the majority of the mask and uniform wearers are as “ravening wolves” on the inside - full of spots and blemishes, full of sin, full of hate, full of envy, full of strife, full of pride and so on and on with unrighteousness until they are continually choked and do choke up the “real words” of purity from God.

This topic is going to require more than one article, The Lord Just revealed to me, and I must close right here as the spirit bids me, and so will I do. I am a prisoner of Christ. I go and come at his lead.

Separate from above:
Would you like to know what being a prisoner of Christ is truly like? If you have ears to hear, then open them up and listen, God will speak to you about his truths and about his ways. But if you desire to continue to wear the mask and try and portray to all others the person you want to be and the person you really are is actually known by God (who knows all things), who knows you are not what you portray yourself to be……then you will never, never find the true pathway that leads to spritual bliss and ultimately eternal life. Subject closed. No more to be said.

If, however, you are willing to come forth and admit you are not who the mask and uniform on the outside of you says you are……you are on your way to repentence and the most joyous and blissful journey toward eternal life you cannot even imagine at this point in time.

And Jesus says: “whomsoever will come forth with a truly honest heart before me and this world is welcome to begin the journey toward my Kingdom.” Anyone trying to get to eternal life any other way is the same as a thief and a robber.

Flirting: Signs Of Interest
Friday 8 August 2008 @ 9:33 pm

When flirting, you should be on the lookout for signs of interest. If you see at least four of the following signs in the body language of the person you are with, it is likely that they are interested in you, and you are being given a green light to move things further!

1. Lengthy eye contact. Eye contact maintained over a period of four seconds or more is unusual between casual acquaintances or friends, but not amongst lovers; and it can be rather intimidating, but if you are flirting with someone and they know that you could be flirting with them, they are sending you an explicit message with the power of eye contact! This could also come from somebody who hates you, but that is unlikely from a stranger.

2. Mirroring. If your posture tends to be similar to that of the other person and tend to do what you do at about the same time that you do it, they are either consciously or unconsciously developing a rapport with you. You can test this by subtly changing one aspect of your posture (the position of an arm, for example) and noticing whether this change is reflected in the other person during the next minute.

3. Where the body and feet are pointing. If you are with someone who is happy to remain with you at the moment, they will generally speaking have turned to face you. If the person wishes they were somewhere else, they will likely have turned away from you, even if they are facing you; look for the legs and feet pointing somewhere else, perhaps even towards a door. Note that this only applies where you are in a one-on-one situation, and doesn’t apply between groups of people.

4. Leaning in towards you. Somebody leaning in towards you is displaying a definite sign of interest, possibly even excitement! This is usually accompanied by open arms and legs. Conversely, somebody leaning away from you, perhaps with their arms and legs crossed, is displaying a lack of interest. If they are leaning in towards you and you do the same, you can be sure that something more is likely to happen, because it is very likely to lead to the next stage!

5. Touch. Firstly, if you are close enough to touch easily then that’s a good sign. There are several things to look for. Hands resting across a table, on your side of it, that are close enough to touch, typically from a woman, signify interest; she doesn’t want to touch first, but she would like to be touched! Picking off a piece of lint from clothes, whether it exists or not, is another good sign. Touching upper arms when sitting next to each other where it is not especially crowded is often done. Lingering touches send an even stronger flirting signal!

6. Raising eyebrows upon first meeting. This is usually over very quickly, lasting about a quarter of a second. As it happens on first meeting, you need to be quick to look for this one! The longer it lasts, the more interest lies beneath, as it can last for up to a second.

7. They are looking at your face or body other than your eyes, especially your mouth or your erogenous zones. They are probably imagining what it would be like to kiss that part of you!

Nothing Tastes Better Than Claiming Your Life
Thursday 7 August 2008 @ 4:17 pm

It’s exactly 12:37 on a sunny Friday afternoon. A woman steps inside her usual lunch time café. The restaurant hasn’t changed. It’s still jam-packed with a stampede of employees from surrounding office buildings from this busy section of town. The usual “Today’s Special” is listed in blue dry eraser ink on the same white dry eraser chalk board. The usual grill men are grilling, the cashiers are cashing and the same smell of pasta, hamburgers and bacon fill the air. Like I said it’s a regular day and nothing has changed in this café, nothing except one thing: the women who walked in this café has changed.

This familiar lady has a new attitude. Her radiant smile lights up the room. Her head is held high. What happened to her? I’ll tell you: Last night with tears of pain and relief she decided once and for all that she wanted more out of her life. She was sick and tired of being sick and tired.

She looked in the mirror and said: “I’m going to bet on ME!” Don’t worry; she doesn’t usually talk to herself out loud. This was a huge moment for her. I’d call her it her moment of “Clarity”.

The world didn’t stop spinning, HBO is still playing reruns of
“Sex In The City” and “Girl Friends” is still on UPN. No one else on the planet knew about her decision, only her.

This woman now did something that was long overdue, she picked up the phone and called her man of exactly 15 months, 3 weeks and 4 days. 11 days earlier she asked him to make a decision about committing fully to their relationship. He asked for a week to think it over. It was now 4 days pass the 7-day thinking it over period. When he answered the phone she dumped him. Puzzled, he asked: “Why are you being so cold baby?” She smiled, looked at the phone and slowly responded: “This is my life and I’m claiming it; starting tonight”. Click.

Then the woman did something else she’d been meaning to do. She placed a second call; this one was to her big sister. Six months earlier the sisters had a terrible argument over money. The big sister had it, and as usual the little sister needed it, but this time big sis’ refused to send it. On several occasions big sis’ saved the day so of course the argument was silly. The lady also knew the cruel words she spoke to her sister were uncalled for and hurtful.

Tonight, she apologized from her heart. The sisters cried, laughed and made up. Big sis’ offered to still send the money, but Little sis’ refused; “Treat yourself to something nice for a change, you deserve it!”

The point of the story is; We all have the power to take back our lives. Our most important decisions are made during our moments of clarity.

The woman walked out of the café feeling brand new so “why not try a new spot?” Across the street sat a new Thai restaurant that she’d heard was fabulous. Today she was going to try it. She strutted into the restaurant. A smiling waitress kindly led her to a charming table seated near the window. “Are you ready to place your order?”, Our friend smiled and responded: “I’m feeling spontaneous today, do me a favor sweetie, surprise me!”

The Benefits of Metal Wine Racks
Tuesday 5 August 2008 @ 5:55 am

The number of metal wine racks available may seem overwhelming, but by narrowing your search you can find your ideal metal wine rack quickly and easily.

Don’t worry about how a wine rack will affect the wine’s flavor. Where you store your wine is far more important than how you store it. Wine should be kept in a consistently cool, dark, slightly humid place. Keep the temperature between 50 and 59 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat or light can cook the wine and spoil it. Store the wine horizontally so that the wine keeps the cork wet. Never put wine on top of the refrigerator — it will ruin the wine. Find a place in your home to store your wine, and then shop for a wine rack that will fit there.

Also have an idea about how many bottles you would like to store. This will limit your search further. If you plan on expanding your collection over the years, buy a simple wire system so you can find additional pieces that match or coordinate over the years.

Metal wine racks have two advantages over wooden racks: the wine’s label is easy to see, and metal wine racks are more likely to fit in narrow spaces. If you will be storing your wine in a closet, under stairs, or in a hallway, metal wine racks are perfect.

Metal wine rack prices depend on size and quality of the metal. You can find decorative, small metal wine racks for under $50. Larger wine racks cost several hundreds of dollars, but you can invest in a wine rack that doubles as a table for wine accessories.

Wrought iron wine racks are some of the most traditional wine racks. They can be simple and elegant with clean lines, or gracefully curvy. Wine racks made from chrome or steel are prefect for modern décors. Search the Internet for great deals on wine racks of a variety of styles and sizes.
