Think of the Inquisition, and the horrible things that the church authorized to be done to human beings just because they had the audacity to be born into a culture that didn’t believe the same way as the Catholic Church. It’s amazing to look at this stuff and realize that’s what happened in history, and then today in our lives, we’re relating to a similar thing, because of what happened on September 11th, 2001, the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. People who wear turbans, people who speak in a Middle-Eastern language, who even look kind of Middle-Eastern, much less women who wear a veil, are seen by many people as terrorists, as a threat, and who they in turn need to isolate, put in jail, and beat up. We talked about this kind of thing happening in the 1950’s, but it’s good to recognize that this is not a mechanism that just happened forty years ago or fifty years ago. It’s something that’s happening again, because we have accepted as our Deity, as our image, an archetype of being victimized.
The outside walls of a skyscraper are called curtain walls. They’re called curtain walls, and it’s because they are just hung. They are just hung on the superstructure. They have no support capability at all. They are hung on the superstructure. Understanding this, and it’s a big thing, because this is exactly what’s happening inside of us, that we have an organizing structure, or organizing structures, plural, that are our orientation, and the orientation can be, “I’m a victim of life. I’m a victim of fate.” It could even be, “I get hurt in love relationships.”
It is a very common one, so we look at this, and we understand that because I have the orientation that I get hurt in a loving relationship. That means when I start a relationship with somebody and it’s really great, and we’re in love; I’m loving the way she doesn’t put the cap on the toothpaste, and she’s loving the way I don’t put down the toilet seat. But then what happens is that over time, the organizing structure of, “I’m hurt in loving relationships,” begins to take the circumstances that happen and see them in terms of me being hurt. The current of its perception, the waves of circumstances are individual waves, and the current of its perception is along the lines of the superstructure. The current of its perception begins to show the way in which it’s organizing the circumstances to fit the motivation of the superstructure.

Many individuals see gems purely as ornamental jewellery, such as gemstone beads; that is, jewellery to put on simply for aesthetic purposes. But gemstones are also trusted to have various remedial properties; for example (depending on the gemstone) the power to boost confidence, concentration, relieve headaches and stress, promote a calm mind, and encourage positivity.
In this article, I will focus on a handful of gems and their commonly believed healing properties. A disclaimer before we go any further : The following is grounded on widely-held beliefs, and there is no guarantee as to the efficacy of these stones and their supposed recuperative properties.
Haematite
A powerful gem which gives strength and improves willpower. Useful for balancing the body and spirit. A very grounding stone which quashes anxiety and is said to alleviate insomnia.
Moonstone
Lifts the emotions, improves the powers of intuition and assists the ability to gain access to the subconscious.
Sodalite
improves the power to communicate and understand others feelings. Useful for the growth of spirituality and intuition.
The above stones are merely a small pick of gems that are believed to have medicinal powers. The only true way to find out if these stones can help you is to actually put on such gems if you suffer from an ailment that a gemstone is believed to help alleviate.
A look at how there is a connection between the Aura and the Human Body and Consciousness.
Become aware of the energy field that surrounds your body. You can feel this with your hands. Rub your hands together for about 30 seconds quite quickly so they become warm. Hold your hands about 150cm/6″ apart and bring them closer together and further apart. Can you feel the change in the energy as you do this, you may even feel a little resistance?
This is the energy, which I am talking about. To a certain extent it is invisible, though some people can see this energy.
Lets take a look at the levels of the Aura and how they relate to the levels of the body and consciousness. A good example to use to show this effect is a piece of paper with some iron filing on it. These are all random until we bring a magnet under the paper then they all start to line up and follow the lines of force of the magnet. In the same way the energy field that surrounds the human body is like the magnet and holds all the parts in that layer in place: Like the level of the cells.
If you put an EEG (Electroencephalograph) on your scalp you can measure the electrical current of your brain waves. But where there is electricity there is also magnetism or a field of energy created by the electrical current flowing. If we say that the flow of energy is our thoughts and the field of energy is our consciousness and this field of energy extends out around our body to create the Aura you start to get a good understanding of the Human Being.
But it is a little more complex than that. Within the Aura there are distinct layers and within the body there are also layers. We are a whole person but we are made of numerous parts. Take for example the heart this is operating on an automatic level of consciousness. You could say that it has its own field of energy and the impulses of energy flow through the heart and contract the muscles. This impulse also creates a finer layer of energy controlling the cells within the heart and forms a finer layer within the Aura.
Therefore we can say that distinct layer in the body creates the layers in the aura and in consciousness.
For example we can suggest the layer of the parts as follows:
Layer . . . . . . . Aura . . . . . . . Area of influence:
organs. . . . . . . Etheric Body . . . Physical Blueprint:
Liquid. . . . . . . Emotional Body . . Emotional Feelings:
Cells . . . . . . . Mental Body. . . . Beliefs:
Molecules . . . . . Astral Body. . . . Relationships:
Atoms . . . . . . . Etheric Temple . . Group Consciousness:
finer particles . . Celestial. . . . .Imagination and intuition:
void or vacuum . . Causal . . . . . . Telephathy, Divine or God:
There are also the energy centres within the body, which also have an influence on the aura. The Chakra Systems: these are seven energy centres that are spaced out along the spine and head: Base, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Brow and Crown.
You can see from the above how your thoughts and feeling can have an effect on your physical body and aura. There is a need to love your Self and to do this on the levels I have just mentioned above. Self-love is the best cure for dis-ease. Choose your mood first. Do not make your mood conditional on what is happening in your live. Choose to be happy, fulfilled and content just as you are. Then you can choose to improve your current situation from a happy, healthy outlook on life by making small adjustments.
You may need to review allsorts of different areas of your life. Do this by being conscious of them and asking if this situation is currently serving you or would an alternative be better. If you feel that there is a better way, slowly change to it. This will help balance your energies and bring you back in tune with your destiny.

Every morning when singer-songwriter Michael Alan looks into the mirror and sees the surgical scar across his chest he is reminded of how lucky he is to be alive. Three years ago he suffered a major heart attack and a year after the episode he was required to have open-heart surgery. The heart attack caused physical disability and the onset of severe depression. In perspective his life evolved around a course of different therapeutic modalities for several years.
Looking back in time, it was the musical sounds in Michael’s head that helped to keep him internally calm during the 911 emergency run to the hospital. He closed his eyes and concentrated on beautiful music and calming images to offset the immense pain and fear. In Michael’s words, “When one experiences an event which threatens your life, leaves you disabled, or takes from you a loved one, the soul inside of you searches for understanding and it yearns for compassion from others. My wounded heart led me to the one thing which always nurtured my spirit”.
Michael’s efforts to improve his emotional state led him back to singing and writing songs, a passion he had put on hold while making other commitments to develop a business career. The result of Michael’s rebirth in writing and recording is the making of a new album release titled “Michael Alan - Searching for the Heartland.”
The recorded song tracks on the CD are a compilation of different time periods in Michael’s song writing, performing and recording career. They include his works as a staff writer for a major music publisher in Los Angeles, his performance touring in Europe with the Esquires, and his most recent music projects since relocating to Seattle, WA. Several of the songs on the album have received grandiose broadcast results on regional College radio in the US. The songs “Rosary” and “Candy” have been placed onto “air-play rotation” schedules with several European commercial stations for weekly broadcasts.
Michael Alan, who records with the label “Global Fish Records,” is a rare artist who creates without a prescribed musical formula. His approach to writing is straight from the heart, lyrically poetic and honest, and void of any sound-alike comparisons. His songs create a myriad of lyrical expressions and images that move the listener through a musical experience of excitement, tenderness, passion, and sadness. His ability to write songs in a variety of musical styles reveals the fact that he is an avid listener of all types of music.
Michael approaches the art of song writing with full emotional conviction. He expresses himself in a personal way sharing his deepest thoughts and feelings through his music. In a recent conversation he commented, “Sometimes on a rare occasion the music and words come together like shadows of light creating a warm sense around me. It’s a feeling that you are not alone in the rhythm of life. It’s in this moment that you know the hearts and souls of all people around the world are truly connected.”
Music and Healing: Michael has been blessed with a second chance at life. It is his desire to share his personal story in hopes that he might encourage people to become educated about heart disease. Cardiovascular disease is the leading killer of Americans today affecting people of all ages. The American Heart Association website, www.heart.org, offers a wealth of health information and discusses many options to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Global Fish Records and Michael Alan are a registered third-party fundraiser for the American Heart Association. A portion of the revenue from the music CD sales is donated to the American Heart Association affiliate office in Seattle, Washington. To learn about the association’s resources and programs call 1-800-562-6718.
Michael spends his Saturday mornings handing-out educational literature about heart disease to people at shopping malls and grocery stores in Lynnwood. He is comfortable in sharing his experience with folks and he feels a responsibility to inform the public about the growing health crisis in America.
As Michael puts it; a lot of people walk by and look at me with a silly grin on their faces while I’m standing in the rain and the cold in my efforts to chat and offer life-saving information. The highlight of my efforts is when a person calmly approaches me with a smile and says “I read the literature you gave me last week and I visited the website of the American Heart Association and now I am prepared to discuss my health concerns with my doctor in an informed manner.”
The music CD, Michael Alan - Searching for the Heartland, is available at the website: www.MichaelAlanMusic.com
The website offers mp3 audio samples for all 12 songs along with insights and lyrics. The album’s promotional song release “Rosary” can be downloaded for free. Additionally, the site includes links to several nationally recognized health-information websites.
