Learning How to Buy Baby Clothes
Monday 30 June 2008 @ 12:13 am

When my son was born I had no clue how to shop for baby clothes, course this was 11 years ago and I’ve since learned a lot. For instance I had no clue that clothes were suppose to be baggy and they didn’t have to be tight. Yep, that was me the one that waited until the shirts were stretching. Okay, not really but you see my drift. Being a mom can be a hard thing, especially when you are new at it.

I did learn that at least for the first few years of life you could normally go by their age. That is if they were the average baby size and not really large. If my son was 8 months it was safe to buy him baby clothes that was for 6-9 months and probably not so much 12 months old. His legs were always short as well which made it a bit harder as he got bigger, see his tummy grew but legs stayed short. I stuck with his age when I bought outfits, except for pants I really had to hold them up against him to see if they were too long. Remember when it comes time to buy baby clothes it can be tricky, figure out what works with you.
